DISCOVERING NEW MARINE PRODUCTS THROUGH ADVANCED RESEARCH SERVICES

Ocean life is a vast, untapped reservoir of molecules that can be used to develop new products through marine bioprospecting. With applications in the health and food production sectors, these products may improve our lives and solve some of today’s societal challenges.

EUREMAP project will create a pipeline of marine bioprospecting services to unlock the potential of ocean life.

Our vision
Moving the Blue Economy forward by unlocking the potential of the vast diversity of marine organisms and their properties to develop new drugs and products for health and food production.

Our goal
Creating the first pipeline of advanced research services in marine bioprospecting offered by a consortium of European research infrastructures.

A Research Partnership to Transform Marine Bioprospecting

EUREMAP brings together 4 European research infrastructures with complementary fields of activity from discovering new compounds to screening their applications, while ensuring the resulting data are usable by the entire scientific community.
